Kevin Barry and Kelly Scott Perdue Archive of Traditional Culture: majority materials are focused on folklore in America but other collections include University of Virginia student papers in Folklore, Folk Medicine, Ethnohistory, and Life History courses taught in the departments of English and Anthropology; Gerald E. Parsons Collection; Edwin E. Erickson Collection, based on ethnomusicological research in South America; Virginia Writers’ Project Collection; The Albert and Shirley Small Special Collections Library holds more than 16 million objects including manuscripts, archival records, rare books, maps, broadsides, photographs, audio and video recordings and more. Collections are particularly strong in American and British literature, the history of Virginia and the southeastern United States; Digital repository and other holdings of the University's library are searchable through an online catalog.
