Digital Repositories include: Latin American Electronic Data Archive (LAEDA): The LAEDA project seeks to collect, preserve, and provide access to data sets relevant to Latin American research, policy analysis, and teaching. The focus of the collection is on electoral data, household surveys, and data relevant to public policy evaluation; Texas ScholarWorks: established to provide open, online access to the products of the University's research and scholarship. Documents include conference proceedings, archives, and various historical and contemporary documents including a Codice indígena, 1564-1565 in collections organized by department and searchable. Documents can be viewed or downloaded; UT Electronic Theses and Dissertations: ETD is a collection of UT Austin authored electronic dissertations; Latin American Open Archives Portal (LAOAP): Providing Access to Latin American Grey Literature. The portal provides access to working documents, pre-prints, research papers, statistical documents, and other difficult-to-access materials from the "deep Web." Typically, this content is published by research institutes, non-governmental organizations, and peripheral agencies that are not controlled by commercial publishers; Latin American Network Information Center (LANIC): Internet portal covering many topics organized by category or geographic region. Includes journals, bibliographies, multimedia content, links, photos, archival and full text documents, and educational resources. The portal is no longer being updated, but remains accessible for searching. LANIC collections include: Archivo de José María Luis Mora digital archive: scanned copies of over 600 documents, both manuscripts and printed works, from the Mora archive, as well as an exhaustive guide describing the collections; Archivo de Lucas Alamán: consists of an inventory with descriptions of 364 manuscripts from the Papers of Mexican statesman and historian, don Lucas Alamán; Latin American Government Documents Archive (LAGDA): seeks to preserve and facilitate access to a wide range of ministerial and presidential documents from 18 Latin American and Caribbean countries. The Archive contains copies of the Web sites of approximately 300 government ministries and presidencies. Content in the Archive includes not only the full-text versions of official documents, but also original video and audio recordings of key regional leaders. Archive contents include thousands of annual and "state of the nation" reports; plans and programs; and speeches by presidents and government ministers.
