Boggs Local History Area of the Redding Library: "The California Indian Library Collections (CILC) contains archived sound recordings, photographs, and textual materials (such as books, journal articles, unpublished manuscripts and field notes, many of which were gathered by Berkeley researchers in the early years of this century) which have been duplicated and installed in twenty-one northern and central California libraries... Our part of the collection consists of sound recordings of interviews, dances, songs and legends, photographs, books, journal articles, and unpublished manuscripts and field notes on the Achomawi, Atsugewi, Klamath River, Wintu and Yana indian tribes." The collection is divided into three parts: books or written material, photos, and sound recordings. Bibliographies and finding aids are available, including: Achomawi, Atsugewi, Klamath River, Wintu, Wintun, and Yana (includes much information on Ishi).
