Secwepemc Museum and Heritage Park

Description
Museum offers exhibits on lifestyles and culture of the Secwepemc people. Displays incorporate the oral history and the legends of the Secwepemc people along with historical photographs, illustrations, and artifacts. Cultural displays extend into a 5 hectare Heritage Park located on the banks of the South Thompson River. More than a kilometer of trails lead visitors through the archaeological remains of a 2000 year old Secwepemc winter village site and unique ethnobotanical garden, featuring traditional plants of the Secwepemc.
