Description
In addition to the exhibits displaying documents and objects that reflect the heritage of the Northwest Territories and the Center's archive facilities, there are numerous online resources available. These include: virtual exhibits, photograph, audio, and video, exhibits; NWT Place Names Database, online guides to language and history, orthography tools, books, research publications; Archaeological Fieldwork Reports: a list of compiled and edited the reports filed by all archaeologists conducting field work in the Northwest Territories since 1998, with summaries of each archaeological report filed with the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre. Archaeological reports from 1984 to 1996 are archived in print at the museum. Admission to the museum is free to the public. A searchable online catalog of archival materials is available.
