The Maison Archéologie & Ethnologie, René-Ginouvès (MAE)

Managed through collaboration between French universities, an archaeology library as well as ethnomusicology, sound, and ethnologists archives are available with materials related to Archeology, Prehistory and Protohistory, Ethnology and Comparative Sociology, Ethnomusicology, Ancient and Medieval History, and Classical Letters. Specialized research labs in these area continue to contribute to the resources and information provided through MAE. An online inventory of the MAE archives is available as well as select digital archival collections. The sound and ethnomusicology archives contain the greatest digital inventory open to the public at this time; The Éric-de-Dampierre library, "one of the three most important research libraries dedicated to ethnology and social anthropology in France... preserves and provides access to scientific archival holdings, mainly produced by ethnologists between the 1930s and the 1990s."
