Description
Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Archives: a research institute of Harvard University containing publications, online exhibits, library, and archives with materials related to Pre-Columbian Studies of Mexico, Central America, and Andean South America. Dumbarton Oaks Archives includes approximately "250 19th and early 20th century drawings, prints, and photographs, most rare or previously unpublished, revealing how these Maya sites were imaged by early explorers and scholars"; Rare Book Collection; the Ephemera Collection, which "consists of a variety of materials related to the Byzantine and Pre-Columbian cultures" and the Image Collections and Fieldwork Archives (ICFA) containing a collection of Pre-Columbian Photographs.
