Description
Library and Archives of the Social Anthropology Laboratory: founded in 1960 by Claude Lévi-Strauss, then professor of the Department of Social Anthropology at the College de France, the Laboratory of Social Anthropology's research covers major themes of ethnology and anthropology. The research is carried out in most parts of the world, including Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, South and North America, Australia, Oceania and India. Library and Archives contain field materials (notebooks, notes, sound recordings, photographic documents, manuscripts, etc.), books, publications, and other resources.
