CARLI Digital Collections

Description
"CARLI Digital Collections was established in 2006 as a repository for digital content created by member libraries of the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI) or purchased by the consortium for use by its members." Various collections related to Native American topics are available, including the Frisk Collection of Alaska Mission Journals (North Park University): presents English- and Swedish-language diaries and logbooks kept by Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) missionaries in Alaska during the period 1893 to 1915, along with several English translations of the Swedish originals. The John Wesley Powell Collection of Pueblo Pottery (Illinois Wesleyan University): photos of pottery, baskets, and other material culture items. Primary cultural affiliations of materials in the pottery collection are Acoma, Anasazi, Hopi, Inuit, Laguna, Makah, Ojibwa, Paiute, Pomo, Tesuque, Ute, Zuni.
