Description
In addition to museum exhibits on display, educational and other resources are available online and a research library on site. Past and present exhibitions, digital and archival collections, and the papers of William Cody, as well as access to their catalog and finding aids are available online. Digital collections primarily consist of photographs, but materials are being added continuously. Among collections related to "Plains Indians Research" are materials associated with the following tribes: Northern Arapaho Tribe, Eastern Shoshone Tribe, Crow Tribe, Northern Cheyenne, Blackfeet Nation, Gros Ventre and Assiniboine, Shoshone Bannock, Rosebud Sioux, Oglala Sioux, Cheyenne River Sioux, Standing Rock Sioux, Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara.
