Collections contain artwork, Native American baskets, ceramics, jewelry and textiles on themes including the Native Americas, Archaeology, and Anthropology.. The Library and Archives of the Autry hold unique, rare and significant primary and secondary resources focusing on the peoples and cultures of the American West. The library contains rare books, serials, maps, photographs, artwork, sound recordings, and manuscript collections. Library catalog available online, provides access to records for more than 80,000 books, journals, sound recordings, video recordings, ephemera, and manuscript collections. "The Autry’s Collections Online is a database containing data and images of items from the collections of our museums, libraries, and archives. It is the public interface to our ongoing digitization program, which seeks to digitize our entire collections. Collections Online currently includes records and images for over 50,000 items."
